Batman Themed Party Supplies and Ideas

Batman Birthday Scene Setter

Whether you love the comics, the movies (new and old) or both, Batman makes an awesome party theme for Batman-loving boys and girls. This post is going to look at my favorite Batman party supplies and ideas, so conceal your identities with a Dark Knight mask, send out some Batman themed invitations to all of your friends, and lets take a look.

First, you will need to decorate your house. The giant scene setter above is a great place to start. Alternatively, if you are going for a more movie style, check out this sweet Gotham style cityscape backdrop.

Every party needs a tonne of balloons, and there are loads to choose from for this them. As a base, you can use these black and yellow latex balloons or these cool Batman art latex balloons, and then why not add some cool foil balloons like the ones on the right? Finish the look off with some Batman dangling decorations and a matching birthday banner.

Another fun idea is to use some Batman wall decals to decorate your walls. They are easy to apply and don't leave any marks on your walls.

Last but not least, a cool Bat-mobile pinata like the one on the left is sure to be a smash hit. You can even get some Batman confetti to add to the candy mix (check out these Batman candy sticks too!).

Once the Bat Cave is decorated and ready, it is time to get ready for the birthday meal. Start by laying the table with a Batman Brave and the Bold themed table-cloth, and maybe decorate it with an incredible centerpiece like the one above or this Batman bat-cycle centerpiece.

You'll also need some tableware to match the theme. My favorite is the colorful set on the right, which comes with napkins, cups and plates. There's enough for 16 heroes there.

If you are planning on baking your own cake, there are a lot of toppers and edible art out there to make it easy for your: see below for some of my favorites. If you fancy a challenge, I've included a video tutorial below on how to make a Batmobile cake - its really awesome. You can top off your cake with a Batman character candle too. 

Need some easy snacks? Why not bake some cupcakes in these navy blue or black cupcake baking cups, decorating them with some Batman logo cupcake edible images or Batman cupcake rings? You can also bake some sweet looking cookies using this Batman logo cookie cutter, and ad some candy to the buffet table like these Batman lollipops. 

Don't let your guests get away without some fun gifts to remember your party by. Kit them out with some Batman loot bags filled with some awesome goodies. You can get a pre-made favor pack or choose some cool favors yourself. My favorite picks include Batman stickers and blowouts.

Don't forget to send out some Batman thank you cards to everyone who came! So those are my favorite Batman party supplies.
