Fun Themed Party Ideas

Ready to learn how to throw an awesome Minnie Mouse themed party? Well this post is right for you! Just put on you Minnie Mouse ears or Minnie Mouse cone hats, send out some Minnie invitations to all of your friends and read on. 

Every Minnie bash needs a beautiful home to go with it. There's a tonne of balloons that make a great start, like these pink Minnie Latex balloons or the foil balloons on the right. You can also get a cute red kit of balloons with foil Minnie faces and polka dots. A fun addition to balloons are these fluffy pink pom pom decorations.

You can also get some cute hanging decorations to put up around the house - like pretty ceiling swirls, or a birthday banner.

Another fun idea is to decorate the walls with some elegant Minnie themed wall decals or to pick up some Minnie Mouse stand ups. They make for wonderful photo opportunities, and make easy bedroom decor after the party is over. Pretty good value!

Last but not least, why not pick up some fun party games? I love the pinata on the left - you can even mix in some cute themed confetti in with the candy! This Pin the Bow on Minnie game would also be a lot of fun too!

Once your house is looking beautiful, move on to getting ready for the birthday meal. You can lay the table with a Minnie Mouse table cover or a cute red or pink polka-dot table cover and decorate the table with a pretty centerpiece like the one to the right.

You can even decorate your cakes with some pink Minnie themed candles! I especially like this decorative clubhouse candle, though I'm not sure I could watch it melt away, its too pretty!

When its time for your guests to go home, make sure they have some goodies to remember the day by. Stuff some Minnie Mouse treat bags with some pre-made favor packs, or choose your own goodies, such as some Minnie Mouse bubble makers, blowouts, stickers, hair clips, and bracelets.

While you are resting after the big day is over, don't forget to send out some Minnie themed thank you cards to everyone who came!

She's Peter Pan's breakout character and star of her own movies, she the beautiful and magical Tinkerbell and her fairy friends. They make a fun party theme, and this post is going to look at some of my favorite supplies for pulling the look off. Send out some Tinkerbell invitations to all your friends, and lets take a look!

First of all, you'll need some decorations to make your home look magical. A great place to start is with a giant Disney fairies scene setter (here's another one!), which are great for photos! 

Next, balloons, balloons, and even more balloons. You can get some very pretty latex balloons in three colors with Tinkerbell fairy art, and there are also a tonne of foil balloon bouquets to choose from. I like the pink and purple flower themed set on the right, but there are also green and lilac Tinkerbell foil balloons.

Other beautiful decorations include this adorable birthday banner and these pretty Tinkerbell ceiling swirls.

Another cute idea for decorating your home is to put up some Disney fairies wall decals around the house - they are easy to apply and don't leave marks when you take them down. They make cool bedroom decor for after the party too!

Finally, why not pick up some sweet Tinkerbell themed party games, like the pull-string pinata on the left, or this cute treasure tower game?

With the table laid out, lets move on to making some tasty treats for the meal itself.

For a simple and quick but still lovely Tinkerbell cake, you can add some personalized icing edible Tinkerbell art to a standard cake.

Got a little Princess in waiting in your home who loves Sofia the First? Why not do her a special treat for her birthday coronation and throw her a Princess Sofia themed ball? If that sounds like fun, crown yourself with an adorable party tiara, send out some Sofia the First invitations to all the guests and lets get ready.

First of all, you'll need to decorate your home so that is it fit for a princess. The amazing scene setter on the right is a wonderful place to start, and you can also get a tonne of balloons that match the theme. 

For example, why not pick up some of these purple, lilac and white latex balloons or these pink, blue and purple latex balloons with cute Princess Sofia art? You can even add some of the foil balloons featured above to the mix - I love the one shaped like the Princess herself, it is very pretty.

A slightly more novel idea is to decorate your home with a life-sized Sofia character stand-up or decorate your walls with a giant character decal like this one. The former makes for some excellent photo opportunities, plus both can be used as colorful bedroom decor after the party is over. Lastly, I recommend picking up a super sweet Sofia the First pinata like the one on the left. Its a cute home decoration, and a fun party game! Just don't eat all the candy before you get to the cake!

Finished decorating? Now its time to ensure that there is a right royal feast for the birthday girl. Start by laying the table with a pink Sofia the First table cover and then decorating it with a wonderful centerpiece like the one above or this cute three piece purple centerpiece

Next up, tableware! You can pick up some Princess Sofia placemats and some cute matching serving platters to keep the food on. 

There are also plenty of fun Sofia the First party tableware kits out there, but I've just included my personal favorite here on the right. Each set serves eight and comes with a huge amount of stuff: plates, napkins, cups, a table-cover, cutlery, two rolls of crepe paper streamers and even some cute birthday candles. Every royal feast needs a cake and some awesome snacks! There are a lot of amazing options for baking a Sofia the First cake, from edible icing art like the topper below, to the cute character topper above. You can even top it off with some cute Sofia the First birthday candles.

My little brother loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so this post is for all the kids like him who would love to have their very own TMNT themed birthday party - we'll be looking at all the essentials you'll need to pull off the big day in ninja-style. Don your ninja masks and send out some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles invitations to your friends, and let's get started.

First things first: decorating your home. A great place to start is with a tonne of balloons. You can pick up lots of inflatable plain green, purple, blue, red and orange latex balloons, as well as some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed foil balloons like the ones on the right. They're pretty cool!

Other decorations include a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Birthday banner and some funky looking hanging ceiling swirls. If you really want to go all out and have a lot of wall space, check out the incredible scene setter featured at the top of this post.

I LOVE FROZEN. Seriously, it is my favorite Disney movie of all time! So, I had to make a post on how to throw an awesome Frozen themed birthday bash for all the boys and girls out there who loved the movie as much as I did. Start by sending out some beautiful Frozen themed party invitations, and lets get going. 

First up, you need to create your very own ice palace. Fill your house with some adorable snowflake balloons, scattered with some cute Frozen themed holographic balloons to start off with (check out the one of Olaf on the right - he's so huggable!). You can also add some blue snowflake themed fairy lights, snowflake ceiling hangings and some tissue snowflake confetti to create a wonderful winter wonderland. 

Another fun idea is to pick up a Frozen themed pinata, since it makes for both a cute decoration and a fun party game. It even comes with movie themed candy, which is pretty cool.    

You can also pick up a wonderful cardboard cut out of the movie poster shot of Elsa and Anna together, featured on the left, which I think would look really lovely. They are great for taking photos next to and making the day memorable, plus they make awesome bedroom decor once the party is over. Why not pair it with a cute wall scene?

If you want to go all out, I also highly recommend some cute character decals. These are easy to apply and don't leave marks on your walls (since they don't use glue), so its quick and simple to get them off after the big day (though, why would you want to?).
