Fun Themed Party Ideas

Hey all! This post is going to look at all the coolest Star War birthday supplies out there for throwing a great Jedi, Sith or Lego Star Wars themed party. Send out some Sith or Jedi party invitations, don your Darth Vadar party masks and lets get started!

Every party needs some awesome decorations to set the scene. You can start by setting the scene of the party with the amazing mural above. Other fun options include picking up a Star Wars birthday banner and ceiling danglers.

There's also a few cool balloon kits out there with the Star Wars theme. My favorite is the Darth Vadar balloon Bouquet on the right, but if the birthday boy or girl is a Clone Wars fan, be sure to check out this sweet foil balloon.

Another option is to pick up a R2D2 and CP3O stand-up poster or this Yoda stand-up: they make for pretty sweet photo opportunities!

Looking for some wall decorations that match the Star Wars theme? Check out these Star Wars wall decals, which are easy to apply and remove. Adding some glow in the dark stars  to the mix would look amazing too!

Star Wars Party Supplies

Once the house is decorated and ready, its time to lay the table with a Star Wars table cover like this one or the one on the right, decorate it with a cool Star Wars centerpiece like this one and get ready for the party feast!

Once the table is looking awesome, you'll need some matching Star wars tableware to go with it. There's a few different options to choose from. If you are wanting the standard Star Wars look, I recommend the kit featured above, which comes with everything you see in the picture: a whole array of plates, napkins and cups.

Every party needs a cake, and there are many fun ideas out there. Check out the tutorial above to learn how to make a Death Star Cake! You can also pick up an awesome Darth Vadar cake pan in order to make a Vadar head cake. If you are going for a more simple look, you can pick up loads of cake toppers and edible icing kits to help you out.

If you are looking for more snack ideas for the birthday buffet, there are a lot of bits and pieces for making Star Wars cupcakes. You can pick up some Stars Wars Symbol baking cups or Jedi versions here, and you can decorate your creations with some colorful light saber picks.

My little brother loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so this post is for all the kids like him who would love to have their very own TMNT themed birthday party - we'll be looking at all the essentials you'll need to pull off the big day in ninja-style. Don your ninja masks and send out some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles invitations to your friends, and let's get started.

First things first: decorating your home. A great place to start is with a tonne of balloons. You can pick up lots of inflatable plain green, purple, blue, red and orange latex balloons, as well as some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed foil balloons like the ones on the right. They're pretty cool!

Other decorations include a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Birthday banner and some funky looking hanging ceiling swirls. If you really want to go all out and have a lot of wall space, check out the incredible scene setter featured at the top of this post. 

Another fantastic idea is to pick up a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pinata, like the four pinatas on the left featuring each of the four main characters in pinata form, or this circular pinata with some gorgeous artwork (shame it'll be bashed to pieces before the night is up!). Not only do they make wonderful decorations, they also make great party games. There's even some TMNT themed confetti you can add to the mix.

Being a Brit living in America, I am a huge fan of Doctor Who, and I know many of my American friends are too. This post is for everyone who want to throw an awesome Doctor Who themed birthday parties and are looking for some fun ideas to get the started. There's not a lot of official Doctor Who party gear out there, but there's enough to make your big day special. Why not start by greeting your guests with an awesome Tardis door poster at the front door? You can also hang up some cool Doctor Who party banners about the house, or some colorful Whovian Tardis balloons like those on the right. 

Another fun party decor idea is to stick up some Who decals on your walls, which are easy to apply and come off without leaving any marks (though why would you ever want to take them off!).

David Tennant or Matt Smith, which ever is your favorite! If you are really brave, why not pick up a weeping angel cut out, available her. I'm not brave enough to post a picture on this blog. We all know what happens to an image of an angel...

Next up, you'll want to lay the table with some sweet Doctor Who tableware, such as this Doctor Who table cover. First up, put out a Pokemon table cover and a centerpiece decoration like the one above to set the scene, and lay the table with the tonne of Pokemon cups, napkins and plates that come with the official Pokemon party standard kit shown below.

With the table all set up, next you'll want to make a cool Pokemon birthday cake for the Birthday girl or boy to enjoy. And their friends too. Don't eat the whole thing by yourself! There's a few Pokemon icing cake toppers that you can add to homemade and store bought cakes to turn them into a Poke-cake worthy of a Pokemon master - my favorite is the one below; its so colorful! Plus it has Pikachu on it, what more could you want? Why not add some Pokemon shaped candles to it to double the awesome factor?

Finally, don't let your guests leave empty handed - be sure to have prepared some Pokemon Loot Bags filled with goodies for them to remember your party by.
