Fun Themed Party Ideas

She's Peter Pan's breakout character and star of her own movies, she the beautiful and magical Tinkerbell and her fairy friends. They make a fun party theme, and this post is going to look at some of my favorite supplies for pulling the look off. Send out some Tinkerbell invitations to all your friends, and lets take a look!

First of all, you'll need some decorations to make your home look magical. A great place to start is with a giant Disney fairies scene setter (here's another one!), which are great for photos! 

Next, balloons, balloons, and even more balloons. You can get some very pretty latex balloons in three colors with Tinkerbell fairy art, and there are also a tonne of foil balloon bouquets to choose from. I like the pink and purple flower themed set on the right, but there are also green and lilac Tinkerbell foil balloons.

Other beautiful decorations include this adorable birthday banner and these pretty Tinkerbell ceiling swirls.

Another cute idea for decorating your home is to put up some Disney fairies wall decals around the house - they are easy to apply and don't leave marks when you take them down. They make cool bedroom decor for after the party too!

Finally, why not pick up some sweet Tinkerbell themed party games, like the pull-string pinata on the left, or this cute treasure tower game?

Once the house is looking magical, its time to get ready for the birthday meal. I recommend laying the table with a purple Tinkerbell table-cover or this lime green Disney fairies table-cover, and decorating it with a beautiful centerpiece like the one above or this cute balloon centerpiece.

With that done, you'll next need some colorful tableware to lay the snack out on. The set on the right is my personal favorite, a pretty pink number which comes with plates, napkins, cups, thank you notes, cutlery, and a matching table cover.

With the table laid out, lets move on to making some tasty treats for the meal itself. 

Yay, cake! There are plenty of options for baking yourself a Tinkerbell Birthday cake. If you scroll further down you'll find a tutorial on making a Tinkerbell pinata cake, and you can also pick up some Disney Fairies cake toppers, or this cute topper kit which features all of the Disney fairies!

For a simple and quick but still lovely Tinkerbell cake, you can add some personalized icing edible Tinkerbell art to a standard cake. 

Once you have your fairy birthday cake, you can even top it off with some Tinkerbell candles or these Disney Fairies candles.

How about baking some cupcakes for desert? If that sounds like fun, check out these Tinkerbell cupcake baking cups and decorations, or these cute flower themed baking cups. 

They even make some sweet Tinkerbell themed cupcake holders for your to stand your cakes in.

Be sure that your guests have some goodies to remember the big day by. Fill some Disney Fairies treat bags with a pre-made favor pack or your own choice of favor treats, such as some Tinkerbell body glitter, necklaces, lip-glosses, blowouts, and stickers.

I love the Hunger Games! I'm really looking forward to the third movie coming out, and I'm planning a party for the release date. I thought I'd share some of the cool stuff I'd found for all of you planning similar parties either for the movie or for your birthday! Send out some Hunger Games invitation to all your friends (you can get some cool free printable ones here!), and lets get ready. 

First of all, decorating your home. There is not any official party decorations for the Hunger Games, but there are some ways you can get the look. The balloons on the right look great, and you can also go for some alternating black and orange balloons like these. Other cool bits and bobs that I've found include this black and orange flame themed bunting and this matching banner that I think would look awesome. 

Once your house is decorated, you might want to consider some Hunger Games activities for the big day. You can also pick up a lot of fun Hunger Games themed party games. I own the Training Days game, and can testify that its a lot of fun! There's a Hunger Games board game out there too. 

Next, preparing for the birthday/party feast! Again, there isn't any official Hunger Games Party supplies, but your can find some unofficial stuff that would work well. 

For example, you could lay the table with a black or orange tablecloth, and check out the fiery napkins on the left, orange paper cups and these orange party plates (here's some black ones if you prefer those or want to have both!). 

Once the table is set, lets look at making some tasty treats...

Every birthday party needs a cake, and there's lots of cool Hunger Games cakes you can bake. This tutorial here shows how to make an awesome Mockingjay cake that looks really cool, for example.

Ooh la la! Parisian chic is all the rage these days, and makes a fantastic themed for a teen or tween girl's birthday bash. This post is going to be looking at my personal favorite party supplies for a perfect Paris themed fête, so put on your French beret and send out some cute Parisian party invitations to your friends, and allons y!

Decorating your house in a Parisian style is made super easy with the abundance of pretty pink, white and black damask latex balloons out there to hang about. The balloon bouquet set featured above is especially lovely. These balloons would go very well with some beautiful black damask paper lanterns too. You can also decorate the house with some cool Eiffel Tower stand-ups like the one on the right, or alternatively some Eiffel Tower wall decals. 

Another fun idea is to get a sweet Paris themed pinata, like this pink poodle or this Eiffel Tower themed pinata. Its both a cute decoration and a fun party game, and that's great value!

Next up, making an awesome Paris-style eating experience. Start my laying your table with a damask table-cloth and a pink Eiffel Tower centerpiece, and putting out some amazing pink tableware like the set featured below. 

As for the cake, I recommend making yourself the sweet black and pink zebra cake featured in the video tutorial above, which really captures the Parisian fashion. You can pick up a fun Eiffel Tower edible cake topper to go on top of it, and why not finish off the look with some classy French themed cake candles?

If you are looking for some more snack ideas for your guests, you can make some cute Parisian cookies using a poodle, Eiffel Tower or Fleur de Lis cookie cutter. 

Don't let your guests leave empty handed either - be sure to kit them out with some Parisian favor boxes or boutique-style party bags filled with favor and goodies. Ideas include pencils, temporary tattoos, and stickers.

I LOVE FROZEN. Seriously, it is my favorite Disney movie of all time! So, I had to make a post on how to throw an awesome Frozen themed birthday bash for all the boys and girls out there who loved the movie as much as I did. Start by sending out some beautiful Frozen themed party invitations, and lets get going. 

First up, you need to create your very own ice palace. Fill your house with some adorable snowflake balloons, scattered with some cute Frozen themed holographic balloons to start off with (check out the one of Olaf on the right - he's so huggable!). You can also add some blue snowflake themed fairy lights, snowflake ceiling hangings and some tissue snowflake confetti to create a wonderful winter wonderland. 

Another fun idea is to pick up a Frozen themed pinata, since it makes for both a cute decoration and a fun party game. It even comes with movie themed candy, which is pretty cool.    

You can also pick up a wonderful cardboard cut out of the movie poster shot of Elsa and Anna together, featured on the left, which I think would look really lovely. They are great for taking photos next to and making the day memorable, plus they make awesome bedroom decor once the party is over. Why not pair it with a cute wall scene?

If you want to go all out, I also highly recommend some cute character decals. These are easy to apply and don't leave marks on your walls (since they don't use glue), so its quick and simple to get them off after the big day (though, why would you want to?). 

Once the palace is looking fabulous, its time to prep for the birthday meal. Start by picking up Frozen themed snowflake table cover and maybe decorating the table with an adorable snowflake themed centerpiece. 

Next you'll need some appropriate tableware, and I highly recommend the very pretty party supply pack featured on the right. Alternatively, you can pick up some cute snowflake themed tableware, such as these plates, cups, and napkins.

Love cake as much as Princess Anna? Well you are going to have a lot of fun - there's tonnes of fun Frozen cake decorating kits out there for you to play around with. If you want to really go crazy, check out the kit above, which comes with an insane amount of toppings. You can even get a beautiful cake topper featuring the Birthday boy or girl's photo with Anna and Elsa!

When its time for your guests to go home, don't let them leave without some cute Arundelle palace themed party bags. You can fill them with a pre-made Disney Frozen birthday favor pack, or you can put together your own Frozen favors. Some bits and pieces I would recommend are these cute stickers, Anna and Elsa blow-outs, Frozen themed pens, or these cute Frozen bottle-cap necklaces.

Hello Kitty is my favorite thing in the world. She's so cute and feminine, and always brings a smile to my face whenever I look at my big pile of Hello Kitty plushies. I would love to have a Hello Kitty themed Birthday party, so that's why I've made this post on how to do just that. Lets send out some Hello Kitty party invitations to our friends and get started.

I love owls, they are so cute! They also make a really adorable decorative theme for Birthday parties for young girls and teens alike. If an owl themed Birthday bash sounds like a hoot to you, then send out some owl themed invitations to all of your friends and read on, because in this post I'll be looking at all the essentials that you'll need to throw the perfect owl Birthday celebration. 

First of all, you'll need to decorate your house with some suitable owl party decorations. The fun ceiling swirls featured above are a really cute way to start, and you can also get an adorable Happy Birthday banner with little owls on it to hang about. 

There's also a number of different styles of balloons you can mix and match to get the look you want, from lovely patterned own-shaped balloons like the one on the right, pastel colored balloons that are great for younger kids, or more bold and cartoony looking owl balloons that look amazing. 

A novel owl decoration idea to set your party apart from the mold is this cute candy stand featured here on the left. Finally, before they leave, be sure to give your party guests something to remember the party by with some owl themed loot bags, which you can fill up with all sorts of goodies. Here are some party favor ideas to get you started: owl themed stampers, stickers, key chains, temporary tattoos, necklaces, finger puppets and even owl themed lip gloss for the girls. Kids will love it!
