Fun Themed Party Ideas

Hey all! This post is going to look at all the coolest Star War birthday supplies out there for throwing a great Jedi, Sith or Lego Star Wars themed party. Send out some Sith or Jedi party invitations, don your Darth Vadar party masks and lets get started!

Every party needs some awesome decorations to set the scene. You can start by setting the scene of the party with the amazing mural above. Other fun options include picking up a Star Wars birthday banner and ceiling danglers.

There's also a few cool balloon kits out there with the Star Wars theme. My favorite is the Darth Vadar balloon Bouquet on the right, but if the birthday boy or girl is a Clone Wars fan, be sure to check out this sweet foil balloon.

Another option is to pick up a R2D2 and CP3O stand-up poster or this Yoda stand-up: they make for pretty sweet photo opportunities!

Looking for some wall decorations that match the Star Wars theme? Check out these Star Wars wall decals, which are easy to apply and remove. Adding some glow in the dark stars  to the mix would look amazing too!

Once the house is decorated and ready, its time to lay the table with a Star Wars table cover like this one or the one on the right, decorate it with a cool Star Wars centerpiece like this one and get ready for the party feast!

Once the table is looking awesome, you'll need some matching Star wars tableware to go with it. There's a few different options to choose from. If you are wanting the standard Star Wars look, I recommend the kit featured above, which comes with everything you see in the picture: a whole array of plates, napkins and cups.

If you are going for a more villainous Star Wars themed party, you can get a matching tableware set here, which comes with plates, cups, napkins and table cover. Its really cool looking, kids are sure to love it.

Every party needs a cake, and there are many fun ideas out there. Check out the tutorial above to learn how to make a Death Star Cake! You can also pick up an awesome Darth Vadar cake pan in order to make a Vadar head cake. If you are going for a more simple look, you can pick up loads of cake toppers and edible icing kits to help you out.

If you are looking for more snack ideas for the birthday buffet, there are a lot of bits and pieces for making Star Wars cupcakes. You can pick up some Stars Wars Symbol baking cups or Jedi versions here, and you can decorate your creations with some colorful light saber picks.

Ready to learn how to throw an awesome Minnie Mouse themed party? Well this post is right for you! Just put on you Minnie Mouse ears or Minnie Mouse cone hats, send out some Minnie invitations to all of your friends and read on. 

Every Minnie bash needs a beautiful home to go with it. There's a tonne of balloons that make a great start, like these pink Minnie Latex balloons or the foil balloons on the right. You can also get a cute red kit of balloons with foil Minnie faces and polka dots. A fun addition to balloons are these fluffy pink pom pom decorations.

You can also get some cute hanging decorations to put up around the house - like pretty ceiling swirls, or a birthday banner.

Another fun idea is to decorate the walls with some elegant Minnie themed wall decals or to pick up some Minnie Mouse stand ups. They make for wonderful photo opportunities, and make easy bedroom decor after the party is over. Pretty good value!

Last but not least, why not pick up some fun party games? I love the pinata on the left - you can even mix in some cute themed confetti in with the candy! This Pin the Bow on Minnie game would also be a lot of fun too!

Every birthday party needs a spectacular cake! There are so many options when baking a Minnie Mouse cake. I've included in this post not one but two great video tutorial on Minnie cake baking, but you can also get edible cake art and cake toppers to make decorating easy. 

You can even decorate your cakes with some pink Minnie themed candles! I especially like this decorative clubhouse candle, though I'm not sure I could watch it melt away, its too pretty!

Speaking of cakes, cupcakes make an excellent and tasty addition to the snack table, and you can get some gorgeous Minnie Mouse themed baking cups and cupcake decorations to help you out.

When its time for your guests to go home, make sure they have some goodies to remember the day by. Stuff some Minnie Mouse treat bags with some pre-made favor packs, or choose your own goodies, such as some Minnie Mouse bubble makers, blowouts, stickers, hair clips, and bracelets.

While you are resting after the big day is over, don't forget to send out some Minnie themed thank you cards to everyone who came!

She's Peter Pan's breakout character and star of her own movies, she the beautiful and magical Tinkerbell and her fairy friends. They make a fun party theme, and this post is going to look at some of my favorite supplies for pulling the look off. Send out some Tinkerbell invitations to all your friends, and lets take a look!

First of all, you'll need some decorations to make your home look magical. A great place to start is with a giant Disney fairies scene setter (here's another one!), which are great for photos! 

Next, balloons, balloons, and even more balloons. You can get some very pretty latex balloons in three colors with Tinkerbell fairy art, and there are also a tonne of foil balloon bouquets to choose from. I like the pink and purple flower themed set on the right, but there are also green and lilac Tinkerbell foil balloons.

Other beautiful decorations include this adorable birthday banner and these pretty Tinkerbell ceiling swirls.

Another cute idea for decorating your home is to put up some Disney fairies wall decals around the house - they are easy to apply and don't leave marks when you take them down. They make cool bedroom decor for after the party too!

Finally, why not pick up some sweet Tinkerbell themed party games, like the pull-string pinata on the left, or this cute treasure tower game?

With the table laid out, lets move on to making some tasty treats for the meal itself.

For a simple and quick but still lovely Tinkerbell cake, you can add some personalized icing edible Tinkerbell art to a standard cake. 

Once you have your fairy birthday cake, you can even top it off with some Tinkerbell candles or these Disney Fairies candles.

Princess The Frog Scene Setter

The Princess and the Frog was an awesome movie and a spectacular debut for Disney's first African American Princess. Tiana is hardworking, beautiful, and lots of girls love her - if your child is one of them, when not throw a Princess and the Frog themed party for her brithday? Send out some Princess and the Frog invitations, put on your leafy Princess Tiana tiaras and lets take a look at some of my favorite party supplies. 

First things first, decorating your home so it makes a splash on the big day. There's lots of decorations to choose from, but the scene setter on the right is a great place to start. Its so pretty! You can also hang up some Princess and the Frog purple dangling ceiling swirls and a matching birthday banner for good measure.

You can also get a tonne of Tiana themed balloons, such as these Princess and the Frog Art latex balloons, which come in three different colors, or the sets above and below. Its good to pick a color scheme that all your decorations match by the way - Princess and the frog decor tends to come in either lilac and green or hot pink and green. Pick your favorite! 

Another fun idea for decorating your home is to stick up some movie stickers, such as these Princess and the Frog wall decals with 3D butterflies. They are great since they are easy to apply and take down, leaving no marks on your walls, and they make great bedroom decor after the party. For fun photo opportunities, a Princess Tiana or Dr Facilier Disney cardboard cutout wouldn't go amiss.

Next, it is time to prepare for the birthday feast. First of all you'll need a table cover. If you've gone for pink themed decor, check out this cute pink table cover, and if you went for blue and lilac, this one would look perfect. You can decorate the table using a cute centerpiece like the one above or this blue Tiana themed centerpiece.

Next up you'll need to lay the table with some Princess and the Frog themed tableware. If you are going for the purple look, check out the plates on the left.

Alternatively you can go for this pink and green tableware set which comes with a huge amount of stuff: plates, napkins, cups a table-cover, balloons, confetti, a cuter banner and some ceiling decorations to finish off the look.

Once the table is ready, its time to make some cake. There's some cute edible movie cake art out there, as well as some adorable cake toppers like the one below. You can even top off your cakes with some cute purple Princess and the Frog candles or these pink ones.

Disney Princess Party supplies featuring all the princesses are out there in abundance, but what if you are looking to showcase just one Disney Princess for a beautiful birthday bash? This post is for you! Crown your little princess with a Princess Aurora themed tiara and wand, and lets take a look at my favorite Sleeping Beauty party supplies. 

A great place to start with the decorating is with some baby pink and blue latex balloons, sprinkled with some Sleeping Beauty foil balloons like this one here or the cute one above. For some cool photo opportunities, a Maleficant stand up poster would be wonderful. These paper lanterns would fit the theme amazingly too!

Next up, tableware! You can pick up some Princess Sofia placemats and some cute matching serving platters to keep the food on. 

There are also plenty of fun Sofia the First party tableware kits out there, but I've just included my personal favorite here on the right. Each set serves eight and comes with a huge amount of stuff: plates, napkins, cups, a table-cover, cutlery, two rolls of crepe paper streamers and even some cute birthday candles. Every royal feast needs a cake and some awesome snacks! There are a lot of amazing options for baking a Sofia the First cake, from edible icing art like the topper below, to the cute character topper above. You can even top it off with some cute Sofia the First birthday candles.
