Fun Themed Party Ideas

Hey all! This post is going to look at all the coolest Star War birthday supplies out there for throwing a great Jedi, Sith or Lego Star Wars themed party. Send out some Sith or Jedi party invitations, don your Darth Vadar party masks and lets get started!

Every party needs some awesome decorations to set the scene. You can start by setting the scene of the party with the amazing mural above. Other fun options include picking up a Star Wars birthday banner and ceiling danglers.

There's also a few cool balloon kits out there with the Star Wars theme. My favorite is the Darth Vadar balloon Bouquet on the right, but if the birthday boy or girl is a Clone Wars fan, be sure to check out this sweet foil balloon.

Another option is to pick up a R2D2 and CP3O stand-up poster or this Yoda stand-up: they make for pretty sweet photo opportunities!

Looking for some wall decorations that match the Star Wars theme? Check out these Star Wars wall decals, which are easy to apply and remove. Adding some glow in the dark stars  to the mix would look amazing too!

Star Wars Party Supplies

Once the house is decorated and ready, its time to lay the table with a Star Wars table cover like this one or the one on the right, decorate it with a cool Star Wars centerpiece like this one and get ready for the party feast!

Once the table is looking awesome, you'll need some matching Star wars tableware to go with it. There's a few different options to choose from. If you are wanting the standard Star Wars look, I recommend the kit featured above, which comes with everything you see in the picture: a whole array of plates, napkins and cups.

If you are going for a more villainous Star Wars themed party, you can get a matching tableware set here, which comes with plates, cups, napkins and table cover. Its really cool looking, kids are sure to love it.

Every party needs a cake, and there are many fun ideas out there. Check out the tutorial above to learn how to make a Death Star Cake! You can also pick up an awesome Darth Vadar cake pan in order to make a Vadar head cake. If you are going for a more simple look, you can pick up loads of cake toppers and edible icing kits to help you out.

If you are looking for more snack ideas for the birthday buffet, there are a lot of bits and pieces for making Star Wars cupcakes. You can pick up some Stars Wars Symbol baking cups or Jedi versions here, and you can decorate your creations with some colorful light saber picks.

Love the new Captain America: Winter Soldier movie? Why not throw a Captain America themed birthday party? If that sounds awesome, put on your Captain America mask and don your red, white and blue shield, send out some Captain America themed party invitations to all of your friends, and lets assemble to look at my favorite Captain America party supplies. 

First of all, its time to decorate your home in the Captain America style. This is an easy look to pull off - stars and stripes galore! An American flag is pretty much mandatory. Up above is a pack of Captain America themed foil balloons that would look great. Stars and Stripes themed balloons like this circular one or this star shaped one would also fit the themed very well. 

Another fun decoration is some hanging decorations, like the colorful red, white and blue Captain America ceiling swirls on the right and this Captain America Birthday banner. 

Captain America wall decals stuck up around the house also work well - they are easy to apply and don't make marks on your walls. Plus they make fantastic bedroom decor after the party. 

Last but not least, a Captain America stand-up like the one on the left is fantastic for photo opportunities. Here's one in a more comic book style that looks pretty cool!

Once the house is ready for the heroes to arrive, its time to prepare the birthday feast! Start by laying the table with a table cloth like the one above, and decorate it with a patriotic centerpiece like this one. 

Next up, you'll need some Captain America themed tableware. I love the plates on the right - you can get matching cups and napkins for it too.

When the table is ready, how about some baking? Below you can find an amazing tutorial for creating a tasty Captain America shield cake. You can also pick up lots of other cake baking accessories, such as edible art and Captain America cake toppers.

If your young hero always chooses Iron Man as their favorite of the Avengers, why not throw them an Iron Man themed birthday party? If that sounds super, then put on your Iron Man party masks, send out some Tony Stark invitations to all of your friends, and lets look at how to build a perfect Iron Man themed party bash.

First of all, you'll want to decorate your home to match the theme. There are a few fun ways to do this, but an easy staple is to hang up a lot of red and yellow balloons and sprinkle the mix with some Iron Man Foil balloons like the ones above. You can also hang up an Iron Man themed birthday banner and even sprinkle about some Iron Man Confetti!

Stand up posters (like the one on the right) and Iron Man wall decals are another great decor piece that make for cool photo opportunities, plus they make amazing bedroom decor when the party is over.  

Prepping for an Iron Man birthday meal? Start by laying the table with an Iron Man table cover and decorate it with a cool Iron Man centerpiece like this one (or this sweet one here!).

This post is going to highlight some of the fun party supplies out there, so conceal your identity with an Avengers super hero mask, send out invitations to all your friends, and lets take a look. 

First of all you'll need some supplies to help decorate your home to match the theme. The scene setter on the right is a great place to start. You can also get a tonne of themed balloons to go with it like these latex Avengers character face balloons or these awesome comic panel balloons. Below you can find a very colorful bouquet of foil balloons that would look amazing too.

Batman Birthday Scene Setter

Whether you love the comics, the movies (new and old) or both, Batman makes an awesome party theme for Batman-loving boys and girls. This post is going to look at my favorite Batman party supplies and ideas, so conceal your identities with a Dark Knight mask, send out some Batman themed invitations to all of your friends, and lets take a look.

First, you will need to decorate your house. The giant scene setter above is a great place to start. Alternatively, if you are going for a more movie style, check out this sweet Gotham style cityscape backdrop.

Every party needs a tonne of balloons, and there are loads to choose from for this them. As a base, you can use these black and yellow latex balloons or these cool Batman art latex balloons, and then why not add some cool foil balloons like the ones on the right? Finish the look off with some Batman dangling decorations and a matching birthday banner.

Another fun idea is to use some Batman wall decals to decorate your walls. They are easy to apply and don't leave any marks on your walls.

Last but not least, a cool Bat-mobile pinata like the one on the left is sure to be a smash hit. You can even get some Batman confetti to add to the candy mix (check out these Batman candy sticks too!).

Once the Bat Cave is decorated and ready, it is time to get ready for the birthday meal. Start by laying the table with a Batman Brave and the Bold themed table-cloth, and maybe decorate it with an incredible centerpiece like the one above or this Batman bat-cycle centerpiece.

You'll also need some tableware to match the theme. My favorite is the colorful set on the right, which comes with napkins, cups and plates. There's enough for 16 heroes there.

If you are planning on baking your own cake, there are a lot of toppers and edible art out there to make it easy for your: see below for some of my favorites. If you fancy a challenge, I've included a video tutorial below on how to make a Batmobile cake - its really awesome. You can top off your cake with a Batman character candle too. 

Need some easy snacks? Why not bake some cupcakes in these navy blue or black cupcake baking cups, decorating them with some Batman logo cupcake edible images or Batman cupcake rings? You can also bake some sweet looking cookies using this Batman logo cookie cutter, and ad some candy to the buffet table like these Batman lollipops. 

Don't let your guests get away without some fun gifts to remember your party by. Kit them out with some Batman loot bags filled with some awesome goodies. You can get a pre-made favor pack or choose some cool favors yourself. My favorite picks include Batman stickers and blowouts.

The Princess and the Frog was an awesome movie and a spectacular debut for Disney's first African American Princess. Tiana is hardworking, beautiful, and lots of girls love her - if your child is one of them, when not throw a Princess and the Frog themed party for her brithday? Send out some Princess and the Frog invitations, put on your leafy Princess Tiana tiaras and lets take a look at some of my favorite party supplies. 

First things first, decorating your home so it makes a splash on the big day. There's lots of decorations to choose from, but the scene setter on the right is a great place to start. Its so pretty! You can also hang up some Princess and the Frog purple dangling ceiling swirls and a matching birthday banner for good measure.

You can also get a tonne of Tiana themed balloons, such as these Princess and the Frog Art latex balloons, which come in three different colors, or the sets above and below. Its good to pick a color scheme that all your decorations match by the way - Princess and the frog decor tends to come in either lilac and green or hot pink and green. Pick your favorite! 

Another fun idea for decorating your home is to stick up some movie stickers, such as these Princess and the Frog wall decals with 3D butterflies. They are great since they are easy to apply and take down, leaving no marks on your walls, and they make great bedroom decor after the party. For fun photo opportunities, a Princess Tiana or Dr Facilier Disney cardboard cutout wouldn't go amiss.

Next, it is time to prepare for the birthday feast. First of all you'll need a table cover. If you've gone for pink themed decor, check out this cute pink table cover, and if you went for blue and lilac, this one would look perfect. You can decorate the table using a cute centerpiece like the one above or this blue Tiana themed centerpiece.

Next up you'll need to lay the table with some Princess and the Frog themed tableware. If you are going for the purple look, check out the plates on the left.

Alternatively you can go for this pink and green tableware set which comes with a huge amount of stuff: plates, napkins, cups a table-cover, balloons, confetti, a cuter banner and some ceiling decorations to finish off the look.

Once the table is ready, its time to make some cake. There's some cute edible movie cake art out there, as well as some adorable cake toppers like the one below. You can even top off your cakes with some cute purple Princess and the Frog candles or these pink ones.
